Caring For Khokana

At Caring for Khokana, our mission is to empower Nepalese artisans while supporting the Khokana leprosy community in Nepal.

 

Established near Kathmandu, Nepal, this community was created to accommodate individuals with leprosy and their families. Despite its rich cultural heritage and strong communal bonds, residents face significant economic and physical challenges due to their history with leprosy. Our nonprofit initiative features art, clothing, and household items skillfully crafted by talented individuals from the outlying communities near Khokana. All proceeds will be used to benefit these artists and support the members of the leprosy community.
